Returning to Church…
With the new regulations from the government about easing of the lockdown, we are planning to return to worship at the church building this coming Lord’s Day 5th July 2020. There will be a number of changes in how we use the building so please read the advice below which has been sent to our church members in full before you come along.
Please note that it is advisable to wear a face mask when you come to church. There are some available for you at the church, if you do not have your own and we are grateful to Rose for her hard work preparing these.
There will be changes in our procedure for communion around the Lord’s Table and we will announce these at the start of the service on Sunday.
For the time being we will still be meeting on-line for the Tuesday Bible Study and Prayer time. It will be easier for our times of prayer than trying to hear one another when separated by social distancing, and there are some other practical reasons as well. If you want a fuller explanation we have prepared a full Risk Assessment and an expanded description which we need to have to cover our legal responsibilities. These are available on request.
Please continue to be much in prayer for the Lord’s protection for us all as we come to this next stage in the easing of lockdown. Many of us are looking forward to being able to meet together. Remember our loved ones who cannot yet come, because of isolation, age or illness.
