November Lockdown
It’s with much sadness that following the vote in the UK parliament on Wednesday 4th November, UK churches are once again no longer permitted to meet together for public worship.
During this last week many church leaders and ordinary Christians, have written to MPs and other Ministers calling on them to remove the restriction on churches. A joint letter was signed by more than 1500 church leaders protesting the closure and a number of speeches were made in parliament expressing the unease and frustration felt by many of us.
With a heavy heart but in accordance with our belief that our government is acting in good faith with the best of intentions and with no malice toward the Church, we will return to online services from this Sunday (8th November 2020).
We’ll be trying something different this Sunday morning and using Zoom rather than livestreaming on YouYube as we did before. The information needed to connect to the Zoom service has already been sent to our regular congregation but if you’d like to join us then please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page and we’ll send you the information you’ll need. We will continue to make the sermons available on our YouTube channel and SermonAudio page as well as right here on our website.
Every blessing to you all in these trying and difficult days.
